About

The goal of this site is to build a collection of interesting empirical software
engineering questions, questions  often asked by our students and peers,
questions that we expect will have different answers from different folks in
the community, questions that may help us to better understand where we
have been, where we are, and where we are going as a community.

Clearly these questions need answers and we hope to leverage the community
knowledge and interests to make that happen. We anticipate for the collection
of questions/answers to grow and be quite dynamic (e.g., driven by new
questions that will be added over time), and to be as rich as the community
(e.g., questions may be answered by many folks with very different takes,
generating more of a dialog than a list of questions/responses). How much it
grows and how rich and dynamic it becomes is up to us.

So, we kindly invite you to contribute. Read the postings, add your own answers,
suggest new questions. Contribute your perspective so that this collection can
serve as a mechanism to  educate our students and peers, and to keep a record
of how the community evolves in terms of its focus, approaches, and impact.
